Once I move to our .INSURANCE domain name, what do I do with my existing domain?

You can continue using your current domain name (e.g., .com), and once you have your .INSURANCE domain in place you can redirect your traffic and emails to your new .INSURANCE site and email address. Maintaining your original domain and redirecting to your .INSURANCE domain will allow you to retain all customer traffic and communication while educating them about your move to a more secure domain. You can redirect your old domain indefinitely, though many insurers deactivate the old domain when traffic to them becomes minimal (usually up to one year).
